Programme structure
Each programme has three modules, aligned to Levels 4, 5 and 6 of the UK's Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (FHEQ). For the full programme they run in that order, back to back, and are planned to be completed in around four months, subject to the delivery schedule.
Take a single module
Enrol in one module on its own. There is no obligation to complete all three. Level 4 needs no prior background. For Levels 5 and 6, an admissions officer assesses whether you have the knowledge the module assumes. You receive a UWL Certificate of Completion for every module you finish.
Complete the full programme
Take all three modules in order, from Level 4 to Level 6. Only completing all three earns the WisGrad Certified Professional award for that programme, in addition to the three UWL certificates.
Certification, explained
On successful completion of each module, the University of West London (UWL) issues its own Certificate of Completion for that module. Complete all three modules of a programme, in order, and WisGrad issues its own Certified Professional award.
All modules are assessed through applied, portfolio-based coursework designed to demonstrate practical understanding and professional skills.
Frequently asked questions
Who can apply?
Students, graduates and working professionals. Level 4 modules need no prior background in the subject. Levels 5 and 6 build on the earlier levels, and each module page says who it is for.
Do I have to take all three modules?
No. You can take a single module on its own if you have the background it assumes, and you receive a UWL Certificate of Completion for it. Only completing all three modules earns the WisGrad Certified Professional award.
What prior knowledge do I need for a single module?
Level 4 needs no prior background. For Levels 5 and 6 you need the knowledge covered by the earlier level, from completing it or from equivalent experience. An admissions officer assesses this when you enquire.
In what order do I take the modules for the full programme?
Level 4, then Level 5, then Level 6. The three modules run one after another.
How long is a module, and how long is the full programme?
Each module is a 40-day intensive, taught at weekends. The three modules of a programme run back to back and are planned to be completed in around four months, subject to the delivery schedule.
How can I study?
Online, at the WisGrad Campus, Kochi, or hybrid with a partner college. Assessment is applied, portfolio-based coursework, with no written exams.
When can I start?
Each programme has a new intake every four months, and a new module starts about every 40 days. See the intake calendar for planned start months.
What type of programme is this?
These are Professional Development Programmes, delivered by WisGrad in partnership with the University of West London. You receive a UWL Certificate of Completion for each module, and the WisGrad Certified Professional award when you complete all three modules of a programme.
